Events | Chanel Pre-Oscars Dinner 2013
Starlets and models got together for the Chanel Pre-Oscars Dinner. In true Chanel fashion, many wore a tweed ensemble with a modern twist. Whilst Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stood out in her vertical striped jumpsuit, a SS'13 trend that is doing a full circle and is definitely going to be big this season.
Having said that though, the girl's ultimate accessory isn't their jewellery or their clutch but the guys they had on their arm...

Trends | Black Fedora
Although I was Inspired by Saint Laurent's latest campaign, I couldn't quite take the plunge for a black hat as the look was too cumbersome, bearing in mind that the majority of my time is spent in a lecture theatre, I'd be holding it more than wearing it. Having seen this I think I will have to favour style over convenience. Another justification of this, (which some of you may find slightly revolting...) on those days when you just didn't have time to wash your hair and dry shampoo isn't within reach, a hat can be the temporary solution to hide your dirty mane.
Side tracking from the main point here, but loving the green on black, its quite an electric combination...

Luxe for Less | Rebecca Minkoff Mini Satchel
Could this be my dupe for that Holographic PS11?
I think we all know by now how obsessed I am with iridescent materials and the way the colours move around with the light. From the picture, I don't think that the size of this Minkoff bag is far off from the PS11, I wish I could find a better pic. From this angle it seems to be like a Proenza Schouler/Alexander Wang hybrid, what's not to love!? The fact that the leather is cross hatched (similar to or maybe is that saffiano leather Prada is so fond of) adds an extra dimension of texture to the bag and also gives a level of waterproof-ability, always a plus! However as this pic was taken literally days ago, this bag isn't available to buy YET,
but soon, very soon...

Valentines Gifts
These are all the items I wouldn't mind receiving for Valentines day "WINK WINK", although tradition has made all "suitable" Valentines presents to be pink or red with a sprinkle of sparkly dust, I think that something black and stapled with studs (sufficient but not necessary :P) would be an equally suitable present.

Winter Weather Warmers
