Make Up | Daily Routine
I received a few messages regarding my make up so here is a little insight into what I use!
On a daily basis, I use Chanel Vitalumiere and Vitalumiere Eclat compact powder for my complexion. I have tried many different brands and for a light natural coverage, Chanel exceed my exceptions on staying power, coverage and texture. As the foundation contains almond oil, it doubles up as a moisturiser. The compact powder is the same shade as the foundation so it "matt-ifies" my skin yet maintains my colour. Also it photographs beautifully even though they contain an SPF, it gives a natural glow and the appearance of super smooth skin.
The YSL Touche Éclat has got to be one of the best inventions EVER, perfect coverage for my dark circles, blemishes and any other skin issues I have. There were even days when I would use it all over my face if I forgot my foundation and it would give me a flawless base. So glad they created a foundation based on the Touche Éclat (my second favourite foundation, only because it gives heavier coverage and I use it for nights out and events) I highly recommend their foundation if you have had trouble in the past in finding the right shade because they have an extensive rage of colours with different base tones.
The NARS compact powder blush in Orgasm is quite simply THE BEST. It is a sheer pink with a slight shimmer which you can build up so you have total control over how intense you want the colour to be. Unlike most other powders, NARS has created a formula in which the powder goes on evenly without patches. Prior to this, I had issues with blushers and bronzers getting patched up on one side of my cheek but I have never had this issue with NARS blushers/bronzers. When I want to add some contouring, the NARS Laguna bronzer is amazing and does exactly what I need to it do!
I recently bought this MAC eyeshadow in Carefree, which I also use as a highlighter on my cheekbones, although in the pot it looks white, it goes on as a sheer golden shimmer and it captures the light beautifully in pictures, its also great for contouring and is perfect for the light part in a smokey eye.
For my lips, I always opt for a nude pink shade. My go to colours are the NARS Roman Holiday velvet matte pencil and Chanel Rouge Hydrabase in Lola 87 (I think they discontinued this shade...), I particularly like these because they go on smooth and I just love the colours!
I hope this has helped!!
