Runway | Givenchy Spring '14


The Givenchy spring '14 show took a different direction to the previous womenswear collection with heavy influences from the spring '14 Menswear. With not a single print nor sweat shirt in sight, the show opened with a strong tribal theme of earthy tones, feather capes and crystal adored masks which gradually intertwined with cleverly placed drapes and folds that minic those of a Japanese kimono. By fusing the two vastly different traditional dress Tisci has created a collection that exudes elegant female power.
